Country Radio is not realistic about what they heared from the Chicks. The comment was just plainly of the chicks'personal opinion and they should consider it as a freedom of speech. After all america is the land of liberty.

Oh well, no great loss. Maybe they'll keep their opinions at home with them. Don't get me wrong, they're as entitled to their opinions as anyone, I just can't stand people who use their fame as a soap box to subject the general public to their unsolicited point of view. Being famous doesn't make their opinions any more valid than anyone else's. They had a couple of decent songs but I won't miss them when they're gone.

I never cared for them personally. And care less now. Americans who bought their music did so for the entertainment value. Not for their political views or opinions. I put them up there with Jane Fonda. Sorry; but I'm not ready to make nice either.

Yeah...I have no opinion about them as this is a free country and I still want the freedom of speech but I think people just don't like what they did and don't care to hear what they think...They are singers...so they should just sing... people made them famous because they entertain us...Not offend us...

Because most people hate them. You don't go to another country and talk bad about America, especially in country music.
Most country music fans are very patriotic. Doing something like that is a death sentence for your country music career.

I guess country music is run by a bunch of right wing conservatives who don't think that freedom of speech is something that applies to the arts.
