Yes and I am telling you the truth.I know people make up stories on here,but this is factual.

When I was 8 years old I used to go and stay with my gran every weekend.One night I was in bed,all tucked up with my hot water bottle.I was reading comics/magazines.
We used to have a real fire in the bedroom It was quite old fashioned.Anyway I looked up and there was a white figure at the end of the room of a man.
I hid under the covers for what seemed an eternity.When I looked up the white figure was gone.
I run downstairs.I never told my gran.I was 8 and knew I wouldn't be believed.She would have thought I was making it up.

When I was 13 years old I once again went to my Gran's for the weekend.She said "Something happened last night,but you will think I'm crazy.There was a white figure at the side of the bed,it was your grandad".
Now my grandad was dead already,he had been for many years.
Then I went on to tell her what had happened when I was 8.Well she said "Your grandad died in that bed".

That is true.

i havent seen a ghost but wen my dad was alive he always told me about wen he was younger and he saw a ghost. he was at home and him and his sister were looking after their baby brother as they were going up the stairs there was a figure standing at the top looking around the corner at them as my uncle was in his cot at the time an they were the only ones in the house they all ran outside and waited for my nan and grandad to come home from work. my dad was always a joker but weneva he told this story he was always deadly serious. he said that both his sister and his brother saw this figure too. sorry this isnt a eyewitness story!
