NO i think he is wrong! my mom also have a 'o' negative blood,n she just had a open heart sergery ,trust me to find 5 bts of blood v gone crazy.All d bbanks refused to give coz they were not having as its a very rare group.
I think u should donate ur blood whenever posible .So,next time (touch wood)if u need then u can get it very easily,n also u can safe d life of d ppl who have d same rare blood group.(o-)
Blood is something which we cant manufacture ,so if we dont donate then from where we will get d blood when we will need???????????

i have positive but my mom have negative and she is always getting hounded by the blood bank to come donate blood (watch out cuz their vampires!!)
