Why do people give Ann Coulter the time of day...?

She is just a closeted lesbian who likes to have her name in the papers and her face on tv by spewing anti-liberal crap! She has nothing to offer society or politics. So why do people give her the time of day?

Because she is saying things other Neo Cons believe but are too scare to say because of political reasons. I believe she is a paid right wing propaganda operative. (just my personal opinion). Had she said anything about Jews she would have been roasted. Notice she only talks about liberals, gays etc.....This gets her the attention and she sells books, the radio get more ads.....in the end, it is all about the money.

I believe Americans she wise up to this trick and not fall into this left / right paradigm which is spitting our nation apart and causing us to be weaker and look like a bunch of uneducated idiots.

Have you read her books? She's an extremely smart person and if you can get past the satirical humor, you might learn something, or at least be forced to question your own opinions, which is always a good thing.

just as we want our voices heard, so does she. although i disagree with her and feel that she can be harsh and close-minded, there are people who agree with her. it is important for those people to feel safe and welcome to voice their opinions (hopefully in an appropriate and polite way) just as it is important for those with opposing view-points to voice their opinions. that's why freedom of speech is so great.
