I didn't play fresh- Junior (and I regret it)also I was in bad shape, . Over the summer I dropped from 215-180Lb running my *** off, because of that I got way faster. I don't want OL or DL positions, but I have a feeling that's where im going to get stuck. I believe I could be a great DB RB TE Or WR, but since I lack experience I think they're out of my reach... Could I still get in on one of these positions considering my lack of experience?

While it's true...lack of experience can govern positioning...
It shouldn't be true in your case.

your school is small with a poor record.

I imagine you could step into any position you wish.
You're tall and pretty lean but strong.
I'd say get to Spring training and start working in the position you choose.
Study the play book religiously - practice on your own or with a friend.

The first pre-season scrimmages are an opportunity for coaches to see how you will play in your position.
Go for it.

Ok I think that since your 5'11" and 180lbs . I think that you could possibly try and be a TE or DE for your football team cuz even though you say that your 5'11" 180lbs. that Doesn't mean that your small cuz the Football pads and your Football cleats make you look bigger than you really are and if you just really rok on your hand and foot work you could/can be an Alot better player on the Football field for your Football team and just because your team may Not be a good team it Does Not mean that you are Not good or are not good yourself. And By the way being 5'11" Isn't being to small or too Big to be a RB at all just to let you know.

Db is tricky if you do not have experience. There is a lot of instinctive things that are associated with it. If you are a good student of the game, and are willing to spend time eating /breathing/sleeping/living your team's play book, I'd say that you could be a running back. Just remember, you get hit a lot as a running back. speed is not always the key with the wide receiver position. Running good routes, and paying attention to what the defensive back is doing are the best attributes to have. Good hands can't hurt either. Tight end maybe, but you may need to get a little bigger to do that position effectively.

if ur team sucks and its a small school u might not even have to try out... plus ur really tall they watn strong people in the team. im only 5'8 and 165lbs i was tight end i barely made it all the OL and DL in my school are like 6'2 so hehe... my first year of football was in sophomore.. last year. i dotn even kno how to throw a ball lol all i can do is catch. just watch other players. and study the position u want to play. practice with ur friends just in u rback ward.. go to a football camp for experience.. btw im asian and i worked my a*ss off to train i was like 130 i gained all muscle weight just for football. i had to experience at all man u probly have more experience than me so u have a better chance just make sure u do good in tryouts and impress the coaches, never talk back at them. never complain, always do as they say. thats all i did.

tell the coach you prefer a shot. tell him now; do not wait till the pre-season prepare starts. Ask him what it would take to have a shot. Be prepared to paintings your butt off. teach the coach which you're properly well worth the shot. DL is a great time, you may get interior the backfield and particularly reason havoc, and frustrate prima donna QBs and RBs. OL is the toughest area of do on the sector, and thankless, so i will see the way you prefer to stay removed from that. (I hated OL). in case you prefer the ball, prepare putting directly to it; prepare catching it (look the ball all the way into your palms, each and each time, whether you will get pounded into the floor or not). With stressful paintings and determination, you are able to play everywhere on the grass - you in basic terms would desire to coach which you rather prefer it extra advantageous than each and every physique else. suited of success. And save us published.

If you truly want to play one of those other positions,go to your coach and ask him to try you out at those positions. Here is what you might be giving away and you will have to make a choice.A coach can put you where you want to be position wise ,but you might not play.Or he can put you where you can help the team .To me you sound like your strength maybe needed on the line. The bottom line is where- ever you play ,BE A PROBLEM TO THE OTHER TEAM,AND JUST PLAY.Dont worry about position at this point.wherever the coach puts you that is where you will play .ENJOY IT.
