Am I so pathetic that no girl would ever want to be with me? I am very straight but I like to wear makeup (eyeliner and lipstick).....is this so wrong?

As a follow up. The lipstick I am talking about has virtually no color. Perhaps a little red but not enough to notice. More like a lip balm. Sorry if I freaked out anyone. The eyeliner I use is just enough to enhance the blue in my eyes. Nothing freakish.

Well lipstick is really a personal preference.I know a lot of guys who are straight who wear a touch of cover up just to hide those blemishes,lil bit of eyeliner to really give their eyes a boost and yeas even lipstick to brighten their lips.You really should find the right color for yourself.If you're just trying to bring out the natural color of your lips go with something semi-glossy.If you don't have any natural color go with something that goes with your skin color. IE:I am Spanish (as in Spain)and I have an olive complexion (kinda yellow tint to my skin).I find that pinks and light mocha browns go good with my complexion.If you're having a hard time find what works for you I suggest going to the mall and finding a make up counter where there's someone that can help you.
Remember dot the peaks in your top lip to make sure you get the right amount.Swipe the bottom lip and then add chap stick or some type of moisturizer over both lips.Smooth together.And you'll look great!!

Lipstick verges very quickly into gay. Eyeliner is more "acceptable" among the "if you are straight" standards. I honestly would not mind if my man wore lipstick.
But as to universal appeal amongst your female dominated world, stick with perfection and only pinch of expression when using makeup. Otherwise you can look pretty silly. I wear bright grape nail polish, but you don't see me splashing a million more colors on me now do you.... And if you ever see a look in a cosmetic advertisement and think "wow" just remember that "wow" doesn't exactly go a long way in the real world when you're walking down the street.
It's important to have your own identity, but don't go all street walker about it.

Normally, girls aren't very used to guys wearing makeup, although, a lot of guy DO wear makeup. Try wearing less, or just wearing one or the other. If I were you I would just wear the eyeliner, becasue it is more normal for a guy to wear eyeliner than to wear lipstick.

You are NOT pathetic! You are who you are, and there is nothing wrong with that. You will find a woman who understands and appreciates your effort to make yourself improve your appearance.

i personally wouldnt mind eyeliner of even foundation and powder on a male, but not lipstick.

Nah.... just be who you are, and someone, somewhere when you least expect it will love you just as you are.
Makeup is cool for guys these days. So are earrings and stuff like that. It's fun. And it is about time all you guys figure this out. So just be the David Bowie (he is way ahead of you) all of us girls love. I love this guy, he has a lot of confidence and he has the best looking girl too. Uh can't remember her name just know she is gorgeous.

i would cut out the lipstick too, but guys who wear eyeliner and are rockers (like gerard way and jared leto...yum) can be really hot. r u a punk/rocker?
