Sitting by a woman with a hand cut open 6 inches and to the bone. Waiting 20 minutes til Triage then sent back to hospital waiting room to wait who knos how long............*sigh* poor woman

she got a vein to BTW...she ended going to another hospital to get treated. I felt soo bad for her

I fractured my skull and drove myself to the hospital. By the time I got there I was pretty much in shock and basically collapsed in the door. Next thing I knew I heard someone saying don't move and opened my eyes to see a ct scan machine. Can't really say how long I waited, had surgery about 6 hours later but the day really flew by as I was in and out of consciousness!

I would sit there and not look and think about my own problems of why I'm there in the first place. I once had to wait 5 hours before they would pop my shoulder back into place after I dislocated it. I was crying the whole time. That was the most horrible pain I ever felt.

Don't know what could be done except keep an eye on her to make sure she didn't pass out or something.

This happened to my son & all they said was he has to wait they have really got to get it right something like that is urgent
