You may not get your period until you are 16 so don't worry that you don't have it at 12. You are pretty young yet and you will have it for a longgggggggggggggggg time once you do get it so be glad you don't have it yet.

No not unusual at all.. Some girls are late bloomers as i say. NOthing to worry about. I say the later the better. Although i was 10 and way to young wish i had been 14 or so. But that is water under the bridge now. She will have her period sooner or later just dont worry.

It is not necessary that all girls get the period at 12. Some may get late depending on the growth and food intake habits.

Yes. It is normal. I was 13 when I got mine. When I was in high school some girl still didn't have hers until she was 15 or so. Don't worry it'll happen.

I didn't get mine until I was 13. I know other girls who were as late as 14. Don't fret it. If you are super athletic and have a seriously low amount of body fat (think olympic gymnast) it can also delay or interrupt your period.

i got mine like at 10 or 11, don't worry, a lot of girls don't get them till high school. I know a lot of girls that are 13 or 14 and still haven't gotten theirs yet, don't worry.

I didnt get mine til I was 16. I wouldnt worry its normal! My younger sister never got hers, so at 18 she went to the doctors and they put her on the pill, and now she does. Everyone is different!

Very possible, the latest I've ever heard was 16...late bloomers. I wouldn't be worried at all.
