I recently partitioned my hard drive to enable me to run linux as well as XP on the same computer, however i know longer like linux and never use it, i would like to get rid of GRUB as it is a pain at startup to select which operating system i would like to boot. Any ideas of removal. I have tried to reparation Linux out by over copying it with XP hard drive partition, however GRUB will come up with an error message saying somethings is missing.

I do believe you can completely remove all of that with a complete reformat using PartitionCommander. You can get it at staples for like 30$

All you have to do to get rid of GRUB is repair your Master Boot Record. Or, you can just reformat the entire drive/Windows partition; either works.
