I just finished my article critique for my Anatomy and Physiology class about an hour ago, it's due tomorrow. It had to be a minimum of 3 pages, but that seemed like the longest paper I have ever written even though I have written papers longer than this one. I'm so happy I finally finished it. I was working on it all day yesterday and most of the day today. I need to stop procrastinating so much. Why do you think a lot of people procrastinate???

Congrats on finishing it!! . And I can totally relate to you and procrastinating.. Its NOT a good habbit.. and the sooner you get out of it the easier it will be.. you can change it all right now.. just start out with small things, and getting them done right NOW not later.. and go from there...Ive been working on it myself and it feels good and rewarding once you get into the routine of getting things done asap. Good luck on that paper!

Because they put off today what they can do tomorrow. I have a test to take on that very subject myself. I've been putting it off too. I'm home schooled, so the procrastination is really bad for me right now. I'm studying veterinary technology.

I know when I have to something that is important and I don't want to, it's an internal fear of struggle and immanent failure. A little while ago, I had to do some repairs to the house that I didn't know how to do but do to the situation, had to do them myself. I came up with every excuse not to do it for months. I was afraid of not being able to do it and screw it up. Last possible minute, I was forced to push on and get the job done.

Well, as someone who has three papers to finish by this weekend, and one to finish by this Wednesday, when I've had all quarter to do them, I know what you mean. I don't like to procrastinate, but, I usually do it with papers.

There are so many things to do that are fun, but give yourself a pat on the back. Be proud of your accomplishments.

it's in the human nature. we like to put things off, and are so sure of ourselves that we'll do it later. but then we're lyke 'omg! i should've done it earlier!" and we never if ever at all, learn from it.
its psychological, its the way we're "programed" we see our parents do it, we do it...and so on
