Sure, as long as you fertilize it with a fertilizer that's a 10-10-10 mix, just a regular complete one. The site I mentioned has great info about types of blackberries and the care they require. Good luck!

Yes, and they do nicely on an apartment balcony in the city too. Just don't forget to treat it nicely. You could even use things that attach string to the walls close by and then train it to climb up these. You will have some nice looking fruit.

Only if you have a very big pot. ....blackberries take a lot of water and grow very fast.
