Not me. When I was a kid I lived where it snowed in the winter. But my favorite times were up at my parents' cabin when it was snowing outside like crazy and our outside lights lit up the nearby forest and all the snowflakes dancing down, which we watched through huge A-frame cathedral-style windows while sitting by a warm fire. Every so often there'd be this huge THUMP as more snow slid off the roof and hit the porch. Good times!

Also spent lots of time on Mt. Shasta with my climbing skins on my telemark skis. We would climb up to 10,000 feet and then spend all day skiing down the mountain, making miles-long diagonals through woods and over ridges.

And making snowmen when I was little. Riding a sled. Hearing the snow make these cool crunchy sounds under your boots as you're walking through it.

I have experienced snow(from Illinois). But we went to Tucson, Arizona for Christmas, thinking that we would not experience the "joys" of snow, we were awaken, and the kids were yelling, with excitement "It's SNOWING" I can understand, what it would be like not to get snow. CHRISTMAS with no snow, could have been, but it wasn't.

Every Winter I'd play in the snow. But now I'm older and I dont do much with the snow except shovel it. I used to build snowmen, snow-forts, tunnels, snow angels, sledding, snowmobiling...etc. My sister and I would stay outside even after dusk, playing by outdoor lights. We'd get cold & wet and then come inside for some hot chocolate with mashmallows.

* I remember living in the mountains and one winter day in the snow, I stepped down off the step to walk down the driveway when instead I slid down it all the way on my rear and was soaking wet... I had to climb back up through the unpacked snow holding on to branches and trees just to get back inside the house to change my clothes... what a sight that must have been... and what a day. I was 15.

My favorite sound in the snow is the chains making that shushing sound in the snow... brings back fond memories of my parents who are sadly gone now.

I'm from Wisconsin, so we got plenty of snow. I now live in Virginia, and never see the snow. I never thought I'd miss the snow, but I do.

not me. When I was young, we used to scrape the wall linings of the fridge when we are defrosting it and throw it up in the air and pretend it's snowing.

I'm not so grand about snows now that I'm grown up. I figure it will just be cold. I like sands better. And rain. It's more melancholic.
