Most people believe in existing objects as physically there. Well, that's crap. I say that anything and everything can exist if you think about it, and ONLY if you think about it. Books, pictures, and CPU graphics is an applied form of thought, which is close to thinking about it. Now imagine something: if you can mentally see it OR apply it as a form of literature, then it now exists. A strong and opinionated example of this concept theory is the existance of God. Someone thought Him and beleived Him real because everything can exist in one's mind. To prove everyone of this creation, it was applied into the Bible as a religion. Some of you beleivers will be offended, I'm sure, by this statement or others may be offended simply for a "violation of excessive freedom of speech". My REAL question is your opinion on my lecture. Your answer can be negative, but not too harsh 'cause children also use Yahoo! and you or I don't want to be reported by "internet goonies". What's your opinion?

I agree this is possible, making the mind focus in a particular object, or project an image for self-doctoring. But is there a purpose to it. Hopping that it will come alive, or expect to raise an object through levitation, which is more realistic than mere imagination that has no direction. Having the persistence in this direction may end up in a mad-house, for the doing that do not make sense.
The object of god does not come alive because of mere imagination. Thinking objects for a fact need to have thinking things to help in the arrangement, and modifying the context of its realness. The reason for god realism is due to the perfection of the environment and those in the living that convince none other but the making of intelligent design. True or not, is not the subject in this discussion.

I'm not offended. I believe in God. I have faith that He exists even though I can't see him. I believe that physical objects exist because I can see, hear, touch, taste them. Some people may believe that things are only real if you think they are. Reality is something that is agreed upon. Some people suffer from delusions. If you think you can see a pink elephant floating in mid-air & it's very real to you, but no one else can see it, then you're probably imagining it. If you see a computer in front of you & others are able to see it to, then it's real. If that's the case then I suppose you could argue that God is real for the same reason: because billions of people are in agreement that he exists.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion. Though I don't agree with it it doesn't bother me. I am secure enough in my own beliefs and knowledge that I am not threatened by someone who doesn't see things the same way.

hah, well I would have to say that it is true that all things in your mind exist in your mind, and if you want to say that things in your mind are the only things you can know to exist, than i guess that is fair enough. Although I do think that you may run into trouble with bringing up notions such as god, since there can be anything thought of in the mind, but does that then make it real? I am thinking of a 4000 lb penguin right now, but i would have to say that it holds less reality than the keyboard i am typing on right now. This thought, to me, implies that there is something beyond the mind that exists to give impressions. Also, it seems we require outside imput to then create variations of observed things.

WELL, MY DEAR FRIEND I DON'T THINK YOU ARE TOO FAR OFF THE TRUE. you have a point when you say that objects existing physically . or not . a good example is color, color doesnt really exist . color and by color i mean red blue orange etc. color is just the way light reflect in diferent surfaces and textures for example , if you walk in a room in the night and the light is off. is there really any color? , well no, but the minute you turn the lights on we can see the color and that is because of the light reflecting on the surfaces. so . and concerning with the god issue , you are right too , in fact you said it its just a theory. and the reason why god is a theory is because it hasn't been prove. but its stilla theory and we cannot totally dismiss it.

I respect you for stepping up with that. Well, think about the physics of it. I'm a very literal thinker and I have trouble believing in morals and such. I COMPLETELY agree with you on the God part. What about animals? Most people look down on them but think about it. When you break us all down, we're all made of the same quarks. Just put together different ways. People are scared of books like Prey but really, we're already a biological version of that. We are a bunch of molecules that are put together to create an intelligent being.

I think I have a BILLION DOLLARS, guess I just don't believe it enough.
Unfortunately thinking about something is way different from making the substance of that thought a reality, hence the old saying " it looked good on paper. "
As for the god thing people can believe what they want, at least for now there are no thought police.

In the first place, I should say that you can 'mentally see' just because (at least) one of your senses feeds your brain (eyes, ears, etc.) Otherwise u cannot think, imagine, mentally see anything.
In the second place, I will forever state -till my death- that there's sth superior to any human -call it God or whatever, and u or any other human being will never change it with old and new theories.

Your statement doesn't make much sense. So many people have thought, wished, & prayed for things they never got. What your saying seems like a easy answer for things you cant explain. And by saying God was thought into existence will surely lose your audience, or at least they'll walk away muttering 'crazy'.

I agree with you, philosophically something exists if we think it exists even if we cannot prove its existence by producing a physical specimen . Like the notion of God. Some of us believe in His existence and don't need any proof. So what is your question?

you are saying good about things existing in your mind ,a famous philosipher said the higher the faculty the farther it can reach.You can kick something far but throw even farther ,you can scream farther then u can throw,still u can hear even farther than your voice,u can see farther than that u hear and ultimately your mind which is your highest faculty can reach the deepest of the deep which is all the more reason to use your mind for lofty purposes and what u say about you know who,give him a shot he loves you more than you can know[DONT ROLL YOUR EYES]
