Is anyone else really bad at getting along with friends of friends?

I have to go to this "function" and basically i dont get along with the people going - i find them boring as all hell. (they're friends of a friend.)

I'm REALLY bad at socialising with people i don't like. Is anyone else really bad at this 2?

I dont see any other option than being fake and pretending to like them.

If i got along with them, then they'd be my friends 2. Not friends of a friend!

first: Why do you have to go?
if your are doing it out of loyalty to your friend, then it's not worth it...why sit around and be miserable when you don't have to...

second: If this is something you can't get out of, what are you willing to do to make sure you have a decent time?
are you willing to look passed any boring conversation...this is one of my tricks...don't get in trouble if you use this...I say something totally off the wall to one person...then I watch their reaction...then, when our conversation is over, and it's usually quite fast, I watch as other people look at me with the same expression...I gauge the time it takes for my comment to go around the room...

I think I may have just given you a nasty new habit...LOL

i got that problem 2 i have girl Friend Friends that i hate and can't relate to i find them stupid but what i found in this life the Marine core people i don't even know willing to take a bullet or grenade for me that i don't even know that's a true f Friend
