10 cent coin from the Netherlands. Ever since the Euro came in its no longer in circulation, but it was tiny. About 5mm in diameter I think. Plus very thin (so not like the English pound or so). The article below has a picture and also says that the 'dubbeltje' as it is called was the smallest coin in ciruclation worldwide before the euro.

In the Philippines! We have this 5cent coin that has a hole in the middle! and it's so small you could fit 5 coins up one of your nose horizontally! Really small... just like it's value... siiisssh...
