sorry, it is a DSL and yes it is 100mbps. and downloading at 30kbs. is it the companys outgoing bandwith? thanks

try resetting your modem/router. it could also be just that site. and if none of that works, you may have a firus or a trojan on your computer using the internet, so do some scans and if none of that helps then have some one look at it

What type of connection? If you are using a dial-up, 30k would be good. I don't know of any connection that runs at 100kb. That type of 'slow' connection speed certainly would not qualify as broadband.
You don't mean mb/sec do you?

Problem may be that you are confusing kb and KB or that the other server is busier or slower
