I'm female. I never got along with my father until shortly before I got married. Now it's more like we're friends. We're not affectionate or anything, more like we go out to dinner every once in a while and discuss movies we've seen.

My father and I were always very close. He died when i was 40 and I still think of him everyday. Something fun or funny to do that we had done together or a funny story or Joke he told . A message he preached. Reading the story of Jesus birth at Christmas. Sing as a family around the piano at family holidays. working together to remodel a house or build a business. Yes i miss my dad but because of my assurance of salvation Thur the blood of Jesus and my asking forgiveness for my sins and making Him Lord of my life, I know that I Will see him again soon

I can't pick any of those. It would have to be a mixture of 2,3,and 4 mabye. I talked to mine a few times and we seemed to get along. Although that was when I was around 13 or so when I finally wanted to know that whole truth about everything. Then when I was about 19 or so I asked for a DNA test which I was going to pay for, and he said he had nothing tho prove to me. I see him every now and again in odd places, but we don't talk or anything...

1. My parents got divorced when I was 4, so I didn't see a lot of my dad, usually every other weekend. But we have always been very close anyways. He is one of my favorite people in the world, and I have always looked up to him. When I feel down, I know I can always talk to him. And when something Great happens in my life he is always one of the first to know. Even thought we couldn't spend as much time together as we both would have liked, we have always remained very close. I love my dad so much!!! He is one of my favorite people in the world!

I am a female and my relationship was not always the greatest and my father was not there enough for me but i always knew he loved me.. Enjoy the time you have with your dad. My dad passed away 3 years ago and i wish i had of spent more time with him. Even if things were not always the best he was my father and i loved him

Didn't know my Father until I was 5 years old. Only had minimal visits with him until I was 15. Didn't see him again until I was 23 and we have been incredibly close since I turned 30.

I would have had to say number 2 for me. I really miss him now that he is gone and no longer with us though. He passed away and it was really hard on me as it was a shock. I wish things would have been different for us while he was alive. I miss him and sometimes wish he were still here with us.

My Dad was addicted to drugs and achcol. Knew nothing besides a junkie/addict. And he died. After his death I saw him as a human.

Guess I was my dads little boy until my brother was born. Then he preferred a real son, not a daughter.
was raised to listen to him. He scared us kids.
I've always wanted to feel loved by him, never have. He's good at cutting me and my choices down.
