I dont think there is really too much you can do about this. Just abide by it and you will be okay and wont get into any trouble. It is best to stay away since she has done this as you dont want ot go to jail. Get a lawyer and take her to court if she is so unstable and prove that she is. If she is so unstable also go for custody of the kids . You have to prove all this in court though. You cannot just say she is unstable without having some kind of prrof or evidence to back you up on it. She should not have to have a job because you are to be the provider since you are the husband and I would like to talk with her and get the other side of this story as well. At least you can see the kids so this is a good thing. Count your blessings for what you do have.

i could have sworn there was a murderer by the name of jose medina.

but i digress. you can't do anything until the court date. as long as you never touch her or show up where you shouldn't be anyway who cares about the protective order. whatever you do...DON'T VIOLATE IT!! this won't help you at your court hearing. follow the order to a T. don't slander her, don't come off as controlling during the hearing. DO NOT INTERUPT her or the judge while he or she is talking! in order to get an order such as you describe in the first place, you must have done something. cuz a judge won't order all those exemptions on an ex-parte order without good reason. so you left something out of your story.
