Best Laptop under $1,000????

What is the best laptop under $1,000 for the following uses 1.Websurfing 2. Itunes 3. Some light gaming.

well it depends were you live, if you are in the U.S. there is many places where you can get a good laptop for less then $1000
in general for your use you want to have these specs in laptop
Processor: Intel Centrino, or AMD Turion or better (DO NOT and i repeat DO NOT get a Celeron or Sempron processor their are horrible)

if you want to get microsoft vista make sure you get a laptop with at least 1GB memory (1024MB) also the more memory the better.

for gaming i would recommend that you get a laptop with a descent nvidia or radeon graphic chipset.

the brands that i like the most and would recommend is either Toshiba or HP,
