sensitive skin, buddy, or your shaving too damn hard...

You need to stay away from certain creams or lotions and move to sensitive/anti-allergy type of stuff

You could also try not using gels or creams at all, once you get outa the shower, don't even dry yourself, just start shaving...Best damn closest shave you'll ever have

Is it all over your neck or just one area?

If it's what I think it is? It's called Razor bumps, I used to get them until I started using electric razors after several years I went back to razors and the razor bumps never returned.

How I found out about the razor bumps, the razors I was using at the time was Gillette and I call the 800 number and they told me what it was. the first question he ask me if I was Black?
I said No! WHY?
then he said because it's common for black men to get razor bumps
which I thought that was odd! but I guess he should know, they sell razors!

good luck with this, i hope this helps...

one factor that makes a distinction is utilising a clean razor by way of fact if its older and boring then you definately'll in all risk get a rash. additionally what facilitates is sturdy when you get out of the bathe, rub ice the place you shaved. This facilitates close of the pores so your pores and skin won't get any annoying micro organism in it. then you definately can airborne dirt and dirt some infant powder over it. This facilitates save the floor dry which additionally prevents inflammation. I do all of this yet my secret weapon is calamine lotion. I rub it on my bikini line each night in the previous mattress and allow it dry. Then I merely rinse it off interior the morning. It heavily works wonders. in case you do all of this I assure you will have tender bump unfastened pores and skin.

Soak the area with a hot washcloth for a minute or two. This will help. As you get older, the hairs need longer to soften.
