I dont know how to get my baby to become a toddler on the sims 2 nightlife pc. I dont understand it. It never took this long for the sims 2 Original. If any one can help that would be great.

Do you have aging on? If not, you have to make sure that the toddler is aging.

You should get a pop-up saying that the baby will grow up to a toddler in one day. After you get that message anytime between then and 6:00PM the next day you can buy a cake. Take the baby to the cake and blow out the candles. The baby should transition to toddler. If you don't do that the baby should transition automatically after 6:00.

I would suggest boolprop testingcheatsEnabled true.
Here's the directions
1.)Open Cheat window, type in that code
2.) ENTER
3.)Hold Shift and click on any Sim
4.)Click Spawn, and if you don't see it the first time the options show up click more and then Spawn
5.)Another Option thing will pop up with a whole bunch of CrAzY things (Rodney's Death Creator, Clothing Tester, Semester Tester, Sickness Tester.. ect.)
6.)Click on Tombstone of L&D
7.)A tombstone will appear
8.)Make sure your sims aren't doing anything
9.)Click on the tombstone
10.)Go to AGE Baby... not the other two! (You'll have to click more more than twice)
11.)Select your baby's name
12.)A sim should pick your baby up and twirl it around to make it grow
13.)TA-DAA!!!
14.)Open cheat-window, boolProp testingCheatsEnabled false!
15.)DELETE the tombstone
**Note**It is extremely crucial that you turn off the cheat and don't mess around. It is a dangerous cheat. It can crash your game!

make sure your aging is on. if it is then usually the sims just do it on their own so don't give your sims too much to do and they will probably do it. or try buying a birthday cake and click on it hopefully one of the options will make your baby grow up. good luck!

open the cheat code box type help and all the cheats should come up and look for one that ages sims
befor you age your sim maxmotives and put the aspirationlevel to 5

I have played this game, and my baby never grew up. All it did was cry and cry. After playing for about 1 hours a day for a week, I just gave up.
