help me remove norton antivirus causing to block some programs.?

WANT TO OPEN SOME PROGRAMS BUT I HAVE VIRUS PROTECTION NORTON, ITS CAUSING PROBLEM, ALSO HAVE INSTALL SPYSWEPER.ANTIVIRUS P-CILLIAN

click start
control panel
add or remove programs
find norton
click remove
follow uninstall instructions

or you could open up the microsoft security panel in the control panel and turn off the firewall...that works too
