Area 51 is a remote tract of land in the southwestern portion of Lincoln County in southern Nevada, located at 37.239° N 115.816° W, at the southern edge of a large dry salt flat called Groom Lake. It lies within the Nevada Test and Training Range and is owned by the United States Department of Defense and the United States Air Force, and contains an airfield whose primary purpose is believed to be the operation and analysis of enemy aircraft and enemy weapons systems, and secret development and testing of new military aircraft.
Its secretive nature and undoubted connection to classified aircraft research, together with reports of unusual phenomena, have led Area 51 to become a centerpiece of modern UFO and conspiracy theory

Yes, Area 51 is real. it gets it name from an old test ground map that had divided the different test ranges back when the area was used to test weapons. it was the 51st area on the map.

the US Air Force has a flight testing facility for advanced aircraft that's located in that area near groom lake. Its proper name is tonopah. Its just nicknamed area 51 by all the UFO people.

As far as whether it has any UFO's actually on the base is debatable. there have been interviews of people who have said the remains of several spacecraft are being studied and possibly reverse engineering has taken place. But the facility this area lies in is called S-4, and not area 51.

hope that helps.

1) Yes, Area 51 is an actual Air Force base. It is where experimental aircraft are designed and tested. It is so top secret that only those with the highest security clearance can get on the base.

2) No, there are absolutely no UFOs there. Never have been. No aliens either. Lots of experimental aircraft that people see in the night sky and foolishly call UFOs. Take a look at some of the newest aircraft of the last 20 years and you can easily see how the uninformed viewer may perceive it to be an alien space vehicle.

yes it is real, you can see it on maps, however i doubt there is aliens, it just has cool airplane technology, pretty much they keep it top secret so our neighbors don't steal the technology. You can actually try to walk the desert towards it. But the walkers get caught and get an M16 pointed at them nothing more. Believe me you wont get shot. They will just tell you this base is restricted. When they made the movie Independence Day, the Air Force agreed to do some shots on Air Force Bases, but when the Air Force caught wind that some of the screenplay was based around Area 51, the military dropped out of letting the shots on Air Force Bases. The military are so protective, there like greedy little kids playing with there daddy's gun. lol

Yes it is real. The question of UFO's is another story. Some people believe there is something there, others don't. There has never been anyone that can prove their case either way. Always keep an open mind. It will keep you young.

It's real. There even was a TV show on which they interviewed some of the civilians who now work there. As to alien UFOs, that is highly unlikely.

Yes, area 51 is real.

Whether or not there is an alien craft there or not is up to debate. If one supposes they did indeed find one, it might be at any number of other remote bases.
