I did this for about six months. Although I didn't get to do the ones for restaurants or the big name stores, my favorite was shopping for engagement rings. Fun to have $10k rings on your fingers! I got involved by an ad in the employment section. I would pick which ones I wanted to do on line and fill out a questionnaire after wards. Usually about $10-$15 a shop plus mileage.

I've seen some websites you can site up with.
My uncle did it a few times, he said it's not as great as it sounds.
