if a machine's price is 200US$/unit in FOB what does it mean??

Free on Board, that is the shipper pays shipping costs.

Freight-on-Board (FOB) cost structures involve the production cost plus any transport costs to the customers. In other words, not inclusive of the cost of shipping.

the terms in export means that the exporters wiil pay us once the buying items are already borded on ship. The exporters quote the agree price to be pay by them as mentioned in Letter of Credite once we board the items on ship.

I agree it is freight on board. Tells you who pays the shipping and when ownership transfers from shipper to shipee.
