I would like to get the mattress as soon as possible, and save money to purchase a nice platform bed to put it on. I wouldn't think this would be a big deal like it is for box spring/mattress combos.

You don't need any foundation. You can put it on the floor. Or you can get some plywood/particle board and put some hollow blocks under it to raise it up.

I have one and the box spring they come with is hard as a rock so I would think you'd be fine except the bottom of the mattress has a plastic liner which may need to have air circulation to prevent mold.

i will say, although the floor is flat and hard, the boxspring gives it the extra support and helps to keep the shape of the memory foam as well as keeping too much moisture from getting in there. there are mattresses that have boxspring built inside of them which help when you have a platform bed. i would definitely suggest using it with the provided boxspring. hope this helps and you have a comfortable night sleep!

I would just say don't put it on the floor on it's own, put it on top of another mattress or something. I guess you could just put it on the floor if you think it is comfortable enough.

This should be fine. I've owned a foam matress for years and LOVE it.
