well i dont know about the rest of the country, but at my high school, average age was.........anyone in high school, lol. my school had more teenage pregnancies than any other in the city.

I read in Parents magazine that the average age for a first time parent in the U.S. is 30

I went to the mall the other day and my guess would be about 16. No statistics to back this up...just my eyes.
