has anyone had an experience with a ghost(s) if so please tell me your experience?

in the plant where my hubby worked near slave lake there was a young girl, she would play behind the tanks, and turn valves on and off... once there was a guy working there who didn't believe in ghosts, and she ran past him on the catwalk, laughing, pushed him to one side - he came home from work early, got very drunk, and never worked alone again - there was always long blonde hair clogging the pumps, too - we figure some trucker must have dumped her in one of the waste ponds...

I have had experiences one could blame on ghosts, and a dream about ghosts that i had several years ago, but no encounter with one.

Things seem to behave oddly in my house. Once, my cat was let outside, but no one did it, because we weren't home. Another time, there was a smell of a lit match in my house early one morning, but no one admits to having done it. Also, things seem to disappear in my house, never to be found again. Perhaps these all of a more natural reason for happening.

The dream was this: I was at my grandparents house, playing a game with my cousins on the floor in the living room. My Mother and Grandmother were outside late at night, sitting on the deck (which is actually too small to fit two chairs comfortably, and still be able to open the door), talking. Suddenly, a ghost snatches up my mother and grandmother, and my dad yells at us, telling us to hide in the bathroom (which doesn't have windows). Apparently, we were save from this ghost as long as he could see us through a window.

So a year ago, my roommate and I decided to have a seance (spelling!). So we got in our circle around my table, got our candles, our pendulum, and a tape recorder and went at it asking questions and what not. So during this, the chain lock would swing a lot. The Television made some static spark, and something fell in the other room (I blame the cat for that tho). But the whole time the dog was acting very funny, almost terrified as it wandered in and out of the room whimpering at the air above us and pacing the hall way. The cat looked content. Figures, huh? Anyway, we ended and played back the tape recorder and got moments of high static, alot of white nose, and at one point, when we asked if we should end the session, there was a bone chilling 'yes' that none of us had uttered.

Later that week, I get a call from my roomie and he is in panic. He is crying on the phone for me to come home because he was terrified to go back into the apartment because he saw our ghost, which we deemed to be named mary. He was doing laundry and walking to the door to take a load to the basement level when he was stunned by his own reflection in the mirror (this happened on a daily basis because he was the most vain person I knew) and while admiring he noticed something odd in his reflection. Upon closer expection it was a woman, but with out legs. At this, he spun around to be face to face with this apparition, screamed, dropped the laundry and was standing on our balcony in his boxers and a shirt. I come home to this sight and couldn't help but to laugh my rear off because, I'm sorry, but it was funny to see, but he was truely terrified. After that, the room would suddenly get cold at times and stuff would go missing and return. We'd always laugh uneasily and say 'Oh mary, you're something,"

In this apartment I lived in my first year of college very weird things happened. When me and my room mate had lived there for about a month we sent shopping when we came home I had a lot of bags so she used her key to open the door after that we couldn't find her keys. We looked for them for three days and she had to have a locksmith make her a new key for her car. then one day I was studying and went outside to streach my legs when I came back in the keys were in the middle of the livingroom floor. Then the stereo would come on by itself on a heavy metal station, the thermostat would go up and down all the time, the water would come on by itself. Things would fall off the wall. once I hadn't opened the door all morning and my neighbor knocked on the door because he found my very small dog outside and knew I wouldn't have let her out.

i worked in a country my worked is in a quarry as a heavy vehicle mechanic on my few days i stay in the main barracks
only for single employee after two weeks i moved to a small house out of the worksite to reach my place you have to cross a wooden hanging bridge and there is the big reservoir
for drinking water and about 4 houses plus the guard post
and about 400 meters is my house
the first thing i noticed on the house is that there is a crosses painted on all doors and all windows and around the house in every corner there is always a small bibles even on four side of the roofs and there is a latin language like vidi or something like vinie that covers the whole wall some sort of a prayer or some kind of incantation
every night i can hear something like walking i said a cat
i can smell perfume and very strong i said flower i ask the guys about the house no body wants to talk about it
one afternoon me and my friends play chess in the barracks till 10 in the evening friday night we go home i cooked the food and we eat instead of eating inside because i feel its too humid i sit in the stair just in the middle infront is a river where im sitting from the stairs is about 3 meter before the edge as im eating somebody walked in front of me towards the guard post i just wonder it is midnight who will walk this late plus im the last house and all forest and waterfalls
i notice when he pass me as if his in the wind or floating
i so his sillouete when he pass the guard in the front who is siiting on his chair then i saw him come back towards me i put my plate down and i stand so i can see who is this night visitor he moves towards me and when his in front of me he stop about a foot face to face i saw his eyes not a human eyes just a deep hole no colour and he is floating,,,,,,
his skin is like a tree bark not human skin his mouth as if someone just drawn it just like a deep cut he moves toward the waterfall and i saw him dissapear about 10 meters
i shout and scream to my friend to run out of the house and keep on running at the guard post toward the bunkhouse everybody along with the guards ran with us i tell them what i saw nobody go back there again that night
the next morning they told me that the former owner was in the mental hospital for butchering his 4 kids but the question is who butchered his wife and 2 remaining kids while the husband is in assylum

in my last apartment, my thermostat always seemed to turn it self to 80. i blamed my husband at first, but he joined the army and was away at basic training. i had his brother live with me for a time and it still happened, and still neither one of us touched it, then his brother moved out and a while later a really close friend moved in with me and it still happened, none of us would have turned it up that high. we all said it was a ghost as a joke but we sometimes wondered.

Well my most recent one would be the one i saw in my bedroom a few weeks ago. He was like a dark figure of a man, but I knew it was not a man in my room. I did not feel afraid of it so, I rolled over in bed and went back to sleep.

when i was little i would see weird things in the house,like shadows in the hallway that were shaped like big cats,and this one time i saw a little girl standing in the doorway of my room. i stopped seeing things a few years ago

yes. i had a controller for my nintendo 64 come flying off the t.v. stand when there was no possible way that it could have fallen off when it was behind the game system
