There are so many great make-ups out there for women of color. The trick is to apply the make up with a slightly dampened sponge, (a make-up sponge). Don't use to much just enough to even out your skin tone.
Check out his web site there are a number of different brands of make up for women of color.
I would try IMAN from sears...

Mary Kay is the best! I had the exact opposite problem- I couldn't find any concealer for my extremely fair skin! But, you should look at their selection because they have LOTS of good shades. Also, try the Dream Matte Mousse by Maybelline in a peachy shade (one of my African American friends loves it because it shows up without looking too harsh). Good luck!

You don't have to have a credit card for Mary Kay. I accept checks, and I think most consultants do. I think giving MK a try would be best for you so that you can try before you buy and will have a product guarantee if the shade isn't right. Also, a mK consultant can really help you with application.

Funny how my friend and I were just showing each other our MAC make up collections and her MAC was especially designed for African Americans. She looks fabulous, and I'm sure you will too. The only place you can purchase MAC is at Nostrums. The first time I went I just asked what color they thought would be best with my skin tone and they got it right on and they have a full line of everything and it is not that expensive at all. Everyone should have MAC face powder.....everyone....it covers beautifully and is a MUST for us all!!!

Feel-in prettier since I got my MAC!

i don't know why you think you need a credit card to get mary kay products, unless in america you do things different to australia. but anyway go to the mary kay web site click on find a consultant, enter you zip code and it will bring up details of a consultant near you, organise a get together with the consultant, she will come round and show you what to use and how to apply it, and the only money you will have to pay is if you actually buy any of the products.

bare minerals! Feels like you're wearing nothing, gives great coverage, won;t clog pores, and it won't look all cakey. You can even fall asleep in it and wake up with no breakouts and etc.
Use a bronzer to give your face a nice sunkissed glow.
eyeliner -almay the one that lasts 16 hours to it won't smear
and waterproof mascara so if you cry, its humid, sweating or what not it won't drip off your face.

*** you don't need a credit card, you can pay with cash. Go to Sephora, or Ulta [ major make-up stores]

Go to this site and give yourself a virtual make over, then go to the drug/department store and buy the makeup and colors in your brand.
