You would either go back in time using System Restore which is in Start ---- Accessories ---- System Tools.
Find a way to change the serial on the Windows XP if that doesn't work.

This contains deleting the domicile windows real benefit documents.maximum of those documents are "Wga" 1Go into secure mode 2 seek for all hidden documents with the letters "wga" in C stress. 3 Delete each and all the documents with that call 4 Reboot in favourite mode and spot if it works

righ click on the star and it will show you the options... click and a page opens about authetication blah blah... read carefully one of the options says... dont' show me the message again, select that and it will never bother you again..
but you will never be able to update media player, new explorer... and many other updates...
so buy a authorized version and be happy
