I already have the potato chip (invented by Saratoga chief George Crum) but he's not allowed to do that.

This, admittedly, is a difficult question since the bulk of Native American inventions are from pre-contact times with the original inventor's name unknown. Here's an example:

Aboriginal Innovations in Arts, Science and Technology Handbook: Freezing Food

After tooling around the internet I did come across some Native American inventors but they are primarily from the arts realm so I'm not sure if they count as "inventors."

- Sequoyah invented a writing system for the Cherokee and introduced it in 1821.

- The "black on black" pottery style was invented by Maria and Julian Martinez of San Ildefonso Pueblo in 1919.

- The pottery figurine "storyteller form" was invented by Helen Cordero of Cochiti Pueblo in 1964.

- The "overlay-inlay" technique was invented by Dennis Edaakie (unconfirmed--debatable, year unknown).

- And then there's the weird "ICO Crystal Game" from the 80's.

That's all I was able to find. Good luck.

Lots of things :)

The kayak was invented by the Inuit Peoples.

The birch bark canoe was invented by the Eastern First Peoples. The word 'canoe' originiated from the word 'kenu' - meaning dugout.

Lacrosse was invented by the Iroquois and Huron Peoples.

Tipis or tepees are adaptations of Wigwams that were invented by the Plains First Peoples. Seven main styles of Native American housing were invented the Wickiup, the Wigwam, the Longhouse, the Tipi, the Hogan, the Dugout, and the Pueblo.

Those are just a few, I hope that helped :)

I don't know if it could be Defined as an invention as such, but the Native American Navajo Code Talkers utilized their Native Language for the US Military during WW II. The Japanese could not Break this Language Code, and this allowed for Secure Radio Communication.Only recently have they been given Recognition for their invaluable Contribution to the War Effort.
