I am taking this Art Instruction Schools test. It was mostly easy, but I am stuck at the part where I have to finish a sketch of a house and lawn. And I am drawing a MAJOR blank. Could someone help me by posting any ideas on how to decorate the house/lawn? PLEAZZZZZZZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just think about pretty yards you have seen--trees, flowers, perhaps a fountain, a dog chasing a frisbee or ball, a cat snoozing in the sun, a deck with a BBQ grill, table and chairs, etc. If you put a front porch on the house, give it some plants in containers and perhaps a swing. If you haven't finalized the house design, give it a nice bay window, double doors, and some nice planter boxes.

Do something different-they see soooo many pretty houses and lovely lawns. Make the house look like it's decorated for Halloween or Christmas. If Halloween- toilet paper a tree-ghosts hanging from a tree-all the decorated yard stuff, Same for Christmas-wreaths, Santa sticking out of the chimney, reindeer in the yard. I know it sounds a bit "out there"but, if you draw it beautifully-it can set you apart from the usual.
