Did they decide they didn't need anyone with her skills or expertise anymore? Or they were shying away from cases that involved that type of work?

Not to mention she only made like 2 or 3 appearances out of all the seasons. Who's to say she's even gone? She wasn't regular enough to know that.

I agree with both of the above. They had to do a skull reconstruction not too long ago I believe, and didn't use her. I think they're trying to keep Grissom and Sarah together, and save Teri for a rainy day. Nothing spoils a good relationship like a girl coming back into the picture! Probably will use her once viewers get comfortable with Sarah and Grissom to shake things up a bit.

Plus, they are trying to do all kinds of cases. How fun would it be if there was always a skull reconstruction to be done.

Often times a character willbe created for an episode ot two to see how the "chemistry works out". If it does it may be writtien for a recurring role on occasion or even a regular character. Living in Asia I miss not being able to see CSI and CSI Miami and am having withdrawals along with NCIS and the Unit.....

I agree there is some sexual tension there between the Grissom/Seidel charachters.

I'm guessing because they wanted to pursue the Grissom/Sarah romance story line, and Grissom and that gal seemed to have something going on.
