I've travelled all my life. single right now. love comes and goes fast, but im always looking for something more ideal, and i have the patience to work thru a relationship. Im lazy ( except under pressure) and its hard for me to finish what i start. I have strong feelings about everything. Just came out of a major surgery in October 2005, and im assessing my life again. I like change and I dont mind difficulties. But I'm so restless. How could I know how happy I was then if I am not equally happy now? I believe happiness is a very subjective a state of mind that in common understanding is almost as easy to lose as hard is it to come by. Sometimes, we do forget as when was it that we were really happy. Sometimes, we forget the reasons for being happy in the past - which in a sense is a good thing as there is delight in that too, in knowing old things anew, and in becoming happy all over again. This is very rare in the mind that things continued to make us happy beyond certain periods of time. We could get fed up soon with even being happy. Then this is the fact that we all like change, despite change being a threat. Many of us many would seek happiness in their exploits of various kinds, in their adventures, in their exciting pursuits, exhilarating situations, in hilarities of life, and in the euphoric moments of discovery and strangest encounters. True happiness however is not much of a matter of momentary joyfulness. It is something for more real in our mind as our natural need for assurance of our beliefs. I do not believe that happiness something that we could have for one moment only to lose in the next. True happiness, I believe, is about something that is always with us, something that is permanent, something that we never lose, but often only the feel or touch of it. A chance meeting with a perfect stranger, for instance, would not make me any happier, but if I see a old friend after a long time, then I think I am more likely to be delighted. I would be happy also if I would find something to remind me of my better self. This can happen any time, and when it does, all I would remember is being a better self.
