I thought the ending was rushed and there could have been a lot more episodes just on the ending. Personally I really want to see what happens to Ion when he met Abel in that deserted place. I really want to know what will ever happen to Esther and Ion. I wish them to meet again. I think it would be great if there was an epilogue and a more complete ending. Yes I want more Trinity Blood as well! :D

you've gotta realize that most Anime gets produced and ends waaay before it gets here.

I co-run an anime club, where we watch lots of subbed anime from Japan as it's hitting the TV there. So I've seen through episode 195 of Naruto, we watched all of Samurai Champloo over a year before it hit cartoon network, we watched all of Fate:stay/night before it got licensed (dvd's are just hitting US)...

Trinity blood ended in 2005, do you really think they'll pick up a 2 year old project for you to wait 2 more years to get it?

besides, I've found all my favorite animes are the shorter ones, 13-27 episodes, with the 100+ monsters becomming tiresome. (gosh the end of Inu stank!) Another short and upcomming goodie? I'd check out Death Note (but it was recently licensed)

They should TOTALLY make a 2nd season of Trinity Blood! I LOVED it's down-to-graphic details, and have you heard their names?!? I've never even imagined names like those! ;)

But well, sadly, the last episode left a lot of questions like, "Will the anime still continue?", or "What is the real connection between Cain and Abel?" and "What is the true being and purpose of the Rosen Kreuz Orden?". It was, sadly, a big down in the dumps. And it was SO not enough; it had an ending somewhat like Cooking Master Boy and Yakitate! Ja-pan: nice anime, bad ending. It really wasn't enough.

So if they're gonna make a 2nd season, I'm SO gonna watch it!!!! ;)

For all you trinity blood fans.
There won't be probably any continuation of the story because the end was really clear, and those who didn't get the message, should perish.
Secondly Red Mars Project, the Armageddon War, the First Return and the second return aren't really evoced in the anime series with the exeption of the second return.

Here is the little story of mars colonization project:
In 2080, Earth had sent its first colonizing expedition to Mars--the Red Mars Project. The colony's scientists discovered a crashed alien ship on the Martian surface, which contained something of priceless value to the struggling Earthlings: an intelligent nanomachine (nicknamed "The Bacillus") designed to adapt any life form to the harsh conditions of Mars. Injected, it would instantly remake its host on the molecular level, giving enhanced strength, endurance and reflexes, and a much slower aging process to boot. (Presumably the inhabitants of the wrecked ship had been meant to use it, but their luck ran out too soon.) --The colony agreed en masse to be injected with the Bacillus, making them all essentially superhuman. Lives were saved, and all was well until Earth found out about the discovery. Then all Hades broke loose: everyone wanted a shot of the Bacillus, no one could agree who owned or had the rights to it, and the quarrel escalated to all-out world war. This was the Armageddon mentioned in the prologue.

A party of the Mars colonists decided to travel back to Earth and offer their help in rebuilding civilization: this was the First Return. This went well at first, but gradually they found that their new metabolisms, adapted to Mars, began to mutate under the influence of Earth's different environment and strong ultraviolet radiation. They couldn’t bear the daylight, and the Bacillus began to consume their red blood cells, forcing them to replace them somehow…in short, on Earth they turned into classic vampires. They considered themselves a new, improved type of human, stronger than the weak Terrans, and took the name "Methuselah". The already weakened Terran populace now had to fight off a new threat, and civilization was on the brink of total collapse.

Back on Mars, no one could agree what to do next. The colony's leaders--a quartet of lab-created, genetically altered genius-warriors--were divided; three of them bitterly resented having been created only to serve, but the fourth [the chief scientist] still felt bound to Earth and humanity. Faction fighting broke out, and the rebellious three led the Second Return to Earth, which was intended not to help, but to take advantage of Earth's crisis: to conquer the planet and make it a world of vampires. And THAT is the battle that's shown in the prologue to episode one.

The preject and so on are taking place in the novels.

(srry for my spelling its REALLY LATE)

I thought TB was wrapped up WAYYYY!!!! to fast. i expected alot more, such as seing cain in his cruznik's final form learning about why able wants to kill kain so bad. and what happedn to their mother. i expected to see able and ester as a couple. there's so much more that could have been explained. such as
1: WTF is a cruznik really and WTF is the mars colinization prject. and why the cruzniks were made for it.
2:what did kain do to piss able off so badly. (besides the glimpse of the head that cain was holding)
3: what was in that potion that trez used on abel
4:what happened between ester and able
===================================
there arre SOOOO many loose ends but i still like the series it kinda reminds me of Blood the Last vampire (Short good and confusing as hell)
i could almost tie the whole thing up in about 4 episodes or less but id really like to see more trinity blood

The ending left much to be desired but that is probably due to the fact that the author of the novels the anime was based on died before completing them.
