All the commercials of beers, showing healthy people having good time. Beer drives people to alcoholism and belly fat ! No one looks that good, drinking beer as they show on TV. The subway, they claim had made that guy Jerry ( there is no one worse than him to put on a TV commercial?) to have lost half of his weight just eating their sandwich.
On my opinion the most controversial TV ads, would be those alluring people to enjoy the army. I remember this one where this guy (almost a teenager) came on the door of his home, with his bicycle in the background, and tells to his parent why he wants to enjoy the army....because he likes water??!!! All those TV commercials from Army are very misleading. People that are looking for fun, as they show on their adds, (Army is fun), should not enjoy the Army. The Army prepares people for war, to deal with death and there is nothing fun about that. If they were, asking people to enjoy the Army because the country was in need of people's help, than it would be less controversial.
I guess the journalism on TV has become much more controversial than those commercials adds that sponsor them.

The Nationwide commercial with Britney Spears' ex where he was working at a fast food joint after imagining himself as a big rock star was somewhat controversial-it was considered to be a "put-down" for people who actually work in the fast food industry.

Just do like every other commercial does, have a mexican/black girl walking through the streets and have white actors look at her wierd. Then turn it into some victim type promotion for self loathing.

I can't recall the name of the company and if anyone recalls please let me know. It showed an executive type in a chair hawking his product and part of their ad was to shoot a hamster through a letter O in its dot com or something and in another they turned wolves loose on a marching band. Then they guy looks back at you and says: "Good stuff eh?"

definitely the superbowl snickers commercial. It got yanked from the air because people can stand to watch sexy girls in next to nothing parading around, but couldn't stand to see 2 guys touch lips briefly as a joke.

I beileve countless young human beings are laid low with self identy matters. lack of self belief and a pretend experience of entitlement ! we've went from attempting to make issues extra effective for our infants to swing so a techniques from certainty that they now no longer have the limitations that lead them to sense secure on the same time as they study to be in charge adults .i think they are scared extra now then ever until now and are feeling the stress to belong and fall into the traps of each and every of the failings you have indexed above.
