It's the best movie I've seen in a long time great dialog, action, suspense, drama, comedy, and even romance. The plot twists keep you captivated for the whole length of the movie and it's a long one. I watched it at the theater and then bought it when it came out on DVD.

Personally I didn't like it. It was basically a bunch of violence. I think it won the academy award because so many well known actors were in it and all of the Hollywood crowd wanted Martin Scorsese to get an Oscar.

I just watched it the other night. It is pretty good. The ending is very shocking. Sometimes it felt long and dragged out, but over all its definitely a good movie to watch.

I thought is was horrible! I almost left at the beginning. Mark Wahlberg spewed so many *f* words it was difficult to understand the context of his sentences. The story line was aweful! Leonardo DiCaprio was the only good thing about the movie. His was the only decent character and he did an awesome job acting it.

I havn't seen it but when it first came out I really wanted to because all the people in it are at that point where their so famous and rich they don't have to do any bad movies.

"The Departed" is highly over-rated.You could watch the movie for the heck of it.It's ok, NOT great.

yes, it is an excellent movie, the ending reminded me of the road to perdition too much though and that is my favorite movie so I wanst too happy about that, but yes, it is a good movie

If you can deal with all the unnecessary profanity in the beginning, yes, it's a good movie.

The movie is not as good as that, but the idea is original, and no body was expecting such end! But u should see it!

It is realy good, with a great cast. But be warned: Do NOT get attached to anyone in this film!!
