the place i live has snow which is really bad for concrete. water soaks in and exspands by 9 % which damages and breaks the concrete. also snow salt damages. which is why you need a sealer and there isnt a company around that does this.

id put an ad in the newspaper as well, its usually more cost effective.. and you may want to offer the first couple of customers you get a very generous discount, or even do it for free minus cost of materials, just so you can get experience as well as good recommendations for future customers

it requires a lot of equipment... not expensive but some things... rubber boots, the tar of course, some squeegee things(something to push the tar around) and some manpower for large driveways... also it get very hot and very uncomfortable and is very hard work... other than that... have fun
