the least amount of shots in an NHL game is 6 by the toronto maple leafs. i believe this is correct as at the time that's what everyone said. it was game 6 of the 2000 eastern conference semi-final vs devils and the devils just shut them down. leafs couldn't get anything going. devils won 3-0 and won the series 4-2 holding leafs to just 6 shots.
