i have this guyfriend and one time i got really mad at him because all of a sudden he started snarling at me and acting like i was totally stupid and he was being really jerky. i didn't cry or yell at him, i just stayed away from him and didn't talk to him. then, he started saying to my friend that i was too "emotional" for him. is getting mad at a guy really all that "emotional" or is he just too immature?

He's wrong, not you. You were acting very mature about the situation. He's the one you doesn't understand, that's not how you treat a girl. So, if you want you can tell him how you feel, but if he's the type of guy who is too ignorant to listen then keep your distance. He's not worth it anyway.

I DON'T THINK YOU'RE THE ONE WITH THE PROBLEM. ANY GUY THAT SNARLS IS SCARY! A GUY THINKING THAT A FEMALE IS STUPID AND ACTS JERKY, IS NORMAL. BUT REALLY, ANY PERSON THAT HAS TO PUT ALL THE BLAME ON THE OTHER PERSON, HAS THE POTENTIAL OF HAVING A ROCKY RELATIONSHIP WITH ANYONE THEY MEET. IT SOUNDS LIKE HE THINKS ALOT OF HIMSELF AND PEOPLE LIKE THAT, HAVE NO ROOM IN THEIR LIVES FOR ANYONE ELSE. YOU DID THE RIGHT THING. AND NO! YOU'RE NOT EMOTIONAL.

maybe he is immature. why was he snarling at you to begin with? I would have probably gotten mad at him for telling anybody else what went on between us. That's personal and he shoudn't be sharing that with one of your friends. Maybe I'm too emotional too but that would have made me mad.

If he says you are emotional, then he's probably just trying to cover up the fact that he feels bad.
You didn't say what he said to you, so you could have been over reacting, i dont know?
Guys need to realise, us girls are more sensitive than other guys!

he just knows he can get away with it so he plays on that
you allow it you are not too emotional in this case i don't know about the rest of your life leave him alone otherwise you are asking for punishment and he will give it too you
you don't want to be a gluton for punishment
