Disney does not give out this information directly. However, I have heard that on average it is around 8,000 on weekdays and 13,000 on Weekends/Holidays. Right now it is a bit higher because they are currently running a promotion for Southern California Residents where they buy a 1 day ticket to one park they can come back again a second day and go to the other park. This has increased the crowds by a couple of thousand each day.

Not very many people at all. Thrusday is the best day to go, but any day is probably empty over there. Because California Adventure only has like 4 good rides...and Disneyland 20...more people are attracted to Disneyland. It's the one and only. I do still enjoy California Adventure, and I am sure you will too! Enjoy!:):)
