There must be something bad in the water. I wasn't hit by Huey Lewis, but Riki Lee Jones gave me a cross look when I fondled a raisin bagel. And I was attacked by a violent water ouzel while removing the snow from my driveway yesterday.

no way. Huey has a fake hand and it always flies off when he tries to slap anyone around..... then of course we all gotta pull over and get out of the car to search for his hand in the ditch. By that time, all the good lightbulbs are all gone.
He's such a goof! I don't talk to him anymore.

TRUE STORY: A few years ago I was staying at the Landmark Hotel in London. About 3AM, the fire alarm went off, and over the loudspeaker they told us all to go to the lobby using the stairs (it was a real fire, on the roof -- turned out not very big, thankfully).
So in my jammies with a coat on, I head down the stairs...and who turns out to be walking down with me? Huey Lewis! I'm wearing my Giants hat ("SF"), and he looks at me, and says, "alright, a homeboy." Cracked me up. Talked to him for a few minutes -- nice guy. Neither of us were happy to be up in the middle of the night.
Oh -- no News, just Huey. :)

No, but a college friend from San Francisco used to babysit for him in the early 80s before he got really huge. Before "SPORTS" came out. I didn't believe her so she showed me some Polaroid pix.
