What if I get an email and it has a virus on it and of course I dont know it. But instead of opening the email on my computer like it was intended, I open it on my cell phone. What happens to the virus? Does it still effect the computer? The phone? Nothing?

It shouldn't affect yuor phone because it was designed for windows. However, you should be aware that there are viruses specifically designed for cellphones, specifically ones equiped with bluetooth. Don't open or download anything you don't recognize.

Viruses are generally designed to infect Windows operating system. That's why Macs don't have many virus problems. So it shouldn't be able to affect your cell phone.
