It says wait 6 minutes or so. It launched quicktime and I can see data coming in.. so it must be downloading. I'll update soon.

Update 1: 6 minutes later and still downloading. I can tell data is coming in at a reasonable rate as my wireless dongle is flashing considerably (does that when downloading fast data) and incoming data bar is mid way up in zone alarm. I'll do other update when/if I get the sneek preview. (although i saw a long High Definition sneek previous a few weeks back at i-film)

Update 2: In fairness the 2 options for DL (small screen and bigger screen) are 229 MB and 285 MB. The DL finished for me and a info box flashed up, but i was typing at the time and it disappeared. Doesn't seem to want to play in Quicktime now either grrrr.

Upate 3: KK I've dl'd it twice now. Both times I'm left with a Quicktime player which is white blank. NBC rubbish streaming method. I dl'd it once via firefox.. and 2nd time via IE (hoping I might be able to find the quicktime .mov in IE (options > browsing history > settings > view files) but nowt there. Terrible distro method by NBC. I'm as angry as you are now !!!

Update 4: Geez. I made the quicktime player half size to give me some more control.... then i realised that despite it being white in the viewing section... I can press play and hear the sound of the preview. My headset was on the floor and I heard the sound coming out.. put it on and sure enough I have sound of preview but no picture. So I have sound of it but no picture. I must be missing a codec. But cause I can't find the .mov (maybe it wasn't sent directly to my pc cause it streamed in) I can't open it in VLC or something better than Quicktime.

Update 5: Damn.... it sounds great !!!!!!!!! Much more indepth than the trailer i'd seen by the sounds of it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fast forwarded it to half way and I can fully hear a totally intense long battle scene going on with the dialogue and action. Won't give anymore away as to between which characters. :p

Update 6: Ahhh no wonder. Reading the small print of NBC's website it says you need Quicktime 7. I just checked my version and whilst it is up-to-date for all updates.... its only version 6.5

Update 7: Ok latest Quicktime installed (without i-tunes add ons) and trying again for the 3rd time to get the dl. 285mb to dl for the 3rd time..... what a joke.

Update 8: Ahhh cool !!!!!!!!! With the latest Quicktime version it seems like it this special preview will start playing live after a certain amount of dl has been reached - as per normal quicktime trailers... so no waiting for it all to dl. I'm expecting it to start playing any moment. :)

Update 9: Ahh i just had to press play button when it had a little bit of the stream captured... its playing now !!!!! woot !!!!!!

Update 10: Amazing amazing amazing tbh. Woot !!! I'm gonna watch that battle scene over and over again. Just a shame i can't keep this version as it was streamed in... but it must be available elsewhere soon too.

ANYWAY - the answer is to make sure you have latest Quicktime 7 version. GL - and thanks for tipping me off about this special one-day sneek preview release today.
