Whenever someone in my house uses the phone, my internet disconnects me. I want to know why, I use a Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3A. Does anyone why this happens and how to fix this?

Two possibilities, if you are using DSL, you need a filter on every phone jack except the one for the modem. The other possibility is that it is a cordless phone, the old ones used the same frequency as wireless. Change the channel on the phone or router, whichever one is easiest to get to the channel setup.

Depends. If you are using DSL it's likely that you have not installed the DSL filters, as required by your phone provider. Make sure you install all of them.

If you have another Internet source (or even if you have DSL), then it's possible that your cordless phones are on the 2.4 GHz band, which can interfere with some wireless routers. You can change the channel on your wireless router, and/or you can change the channel on your phones.

One of those should solve your problem. Good luck.

It could be a few factors:
if you have dial up it could be messing up the connection
it could be an issue if you have a splitter on the line and the splitter is bad, another thing is to is the phone cord. the longer the cord, it shrinks the bandwidth.
could be an issue with the phone line itself...
I would call your internet provider, go to www.microsoft.com and see if they have some troubleshooting or diagnostic solutions for the problem.

seems like it is a dial up...

Try upgrading it to high speed internet/lan or wireless
