"The flowering plants (also called angiosperms) are the dominant and most familiar group of land plants.
Dicotyledons or "dicots" is a name for a group of flowering plants whose seed typically contains two embryonic leaves or cotyledons."

"The Blue Mahoe (Hibiscus elatus) is the national tree of Jamaica.
Guaiacum officinale is one of the species yielding the true lignum vitae.
Annona squamosa (Sugar-apple) is a species of Annona native to the tropical Americas; the species was described from Jamaica.
The Jamaica walnut (Picrodendron baccatum) is a plant species under the family Euphorbiaceae."

All of the above are angiosperms, but I'm not sure which, if any, are dicotyledons.
