I get this database in my MY PICTURES folder called "Thumbs" I have tried deleteing it but it comes back. Then I did a total System Recovery thinking it was a virus and it still came back? I scanned it for viruses along with my whole computer but it doesn't catch any viruses? What is this database "Thumbs" ???

It is a system file. If you don't want to see it just disable viewing system files in Folders Option.Don't worry, it won't disfigure your pictures.

The "thumbs.db" is an automatically generated file that helps windows generate the thumbnail pictures you see when you look at the folder. It is not a virus but a normal part of operation.

Relax. That is a normal file and its harmless.

It is a files Windows uses to display thumbnail images of your pictures when you are in different views. If you go to the menu bar in explorer and select VIEW, you will see in the middle of the next menu there are choices like THUMBNAILS, TILES, ICONS, etc. When you choose one like THUMBNAILS, is shows small pictures in the right pane. That is what the thumbs.db is used for.
