You've gotten lots of good suggestions for the most part.
You can use some aloe vera on your skin too.

So far I have not found anything to help with this problem. Don't rub it or shave it again for a while. Maybe try soaking in a warm bath. I have tried lotions and stuff but nothing has ever helped. There is a shaving cream called coochie cream or something like that (you can usually find it at sex toy stores) and it works great for shaving your bikini area. I have used it a couple of years now and never have a problem with bikini rash and soreness.

Wear loose, cotton underwear till you start to heal. You can ice it if it's really bad, or take ibuprofen or tylenol.

Always shave your bikini line in the direction the hair is going, change your blades/razor frequently.

And this works SO well: (but don't do this if the razor burn is bleeding or open) - put deodorant on the area after shaving. Be careful not to get it too close or inside your genitals, but it works great on the top part and sides of the bikini line. You have to use that white solid kind of deodorant though - the gels and other kinds won't work for this.

1) Lotion
2) Next time you shave the bikini area, soak in the bathtub for a good while and use a LOT of shave lotion. Either use a new razor or a slightly dulled one.
3) Watch for ingrown hairs--they look like little red bumps. THOSE are painful.

Eeek nasty!

Basically you should make sure to use plenty of product beforehand, like a shaving gel or cream. It's probably best to find one that claims to be mild and suited to sensitive skin. Always use a quality razor and try not to use it too many times before you replace it. This is because the more times you use a razor the less sharp it becomes. Therefore not only will it be less effective, it is more likely to irritate your skin as well.

A non-perfumed moisturiser will help to soothe your skin. If you do develop a rash after shaving then apply the moisturiser as often as necessary. Some find Aloe Vera gel can be very soothing.

I hope this helps :-)

You can make a paste of Baking Soda and water and apply it to the bikini area. Let it stay on for 30 to 45 mins. then wash off. This will alleviate the burning and itching. If pimples develop apply an antibiotic ointment at night.

use a nappy rash creme ... zinc and casor oil ... will relieve the pain and protect the area from rubbing.

when you next shave ensure you have a new (good quality) razor, use a shaving gel/foam (I find gel better). I have found those cheaper razors will Always cut you so go for a good one (not necessarily for females). I use Schick for Sensitve skin and they are great.

For these areas the hair dissolving creams are good if you can use them.

the pain will go quite quickly. for immediate releive use a damp washer to take the heat out.

OCHIE!!!!Well It's probably just razor burn. Try some Aquaphor. it will speed up the healing process. It is commanly used for minor burns, diaper rash, and minor cuts. It will burn alot less than most other things, and highly decrease tha chance of infection. Aquaphor also will put some moisture back in the skin and decrease iching from dry skin. You can purchase it at pretty much any local drug store(walgreens,CVS ect...), they usually have small sample sizes you can get for less than a buck. Hope This Helped

Get a good over the counter topical ointment or cream and spread on the area where you shaved. That happens because your skin is tender and shaving just irritated it.

it'll just take time until the hair grows back. About a day and it will feel better. Also putting antiprespirent on it right after shaving can help alot but it's kinda gross (have you even got razor burnt armpits, now you know why!).

Try some Aveeno oatmeal bath. Sit and soak up to 3 times a day.
