How can we get them to start thinking right? How can we get American women need to realize that being obedient to their husband and accepting the fact that it is okay for their man to have multiple wives is really beneficial to them?

I would be obedient all day long if I didn't have to stress about money. I would do whatever my husband wanted if his sole purpose in life was to take care of me and the kids.. well, it is his sole purpose, but more money would help!
As for multiple wives, I dont think so! Never never.. but multiple husbands would be nice.. more money!! ;)

I'm not disagreeing with you... nor am I agreeing... I'm just wondering...
Can you practice what you preach, Sandstorm? Do you honestly have the means to take care of multiple wives-- especially ones that would not work? Can you afford to feed, clothe and love all of them equally? (that means that you could not favor one wife over another...)
And could you afford to take care of the many children that would result from such a union?
In the "western world", many families struggle with the bills they have now... and that's one husband, one wife-- both who work-- and maybe two children.
I have actually seen the life of polygamy marriages...and it's not what is shown on TV. I've seen the good and the bad. Life is not always so wonderfully simple in those unions.
And what do you consider "beneficial" of a polygamy marriage?

You are sick... that is sick.. people make commitments because they love 1 person not 10 and it just makes for jealousy... then why can't it be ok for wives to have 10 husbands... think about it would you want to be one of 10 husbands
