The level of your bc pill in your blood stream doesn't diminish over night, you should be o.k. You can always get OTC pregnancy test to make sure.

The pills are equally safe at any time of the month. There is always a slight risk of pregnancy (less than 1% if you are using the pill correctly), but it's not any greater when you are on the sugar pills. So don't stress too much:)

You do have a chance of being pregnant, but given that you are due for your period anyday you could still get it and be pregnant. Your best bet would be to buy a good early pregnancy test in about 5 days. That would give enough time for pregnancy hormones to be dectectable in your urine. Also, if you did not miss any pills during your regular pill cycle you should be at seriously decreased risk for pregnancy.

no, very unlikely. the pill is designed to stay in your system during the green pills. you don't even have to take them, but they give them to you so you will be used to taking a pill every day and not miss the other ones. many people take the pill without any other protection. it is the highest percentage of protection against pregnancy there is.

Why do some packages of ORTHO TRI-CYCLEN have green pills?

The green pills contain no active ingredient, but are intended to help you take your pills correctly. Take the green pills after all the other pills have been taken, as a reminder to continue onto your next pack of pills.

My husband and I never used condoms while I was on birth control and I never got pregnant. After I quit taking them I was pregnant with in a month. So I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. However, you should get tested for STD's just to be safe.

If you have not taken any hormone pills late this month and you are on your sugar pills now, you cannot get pregnant.
